THANK YOU!  Thank you so much for a great start to our year. The children were excited, prepared, and hard working. I also appreciate all the supplies that were sent in. They will be very useful throughout the year.


END OF DAY ROUTINE:   Thank you so much for all you are doing to make the end of our day routine run smoothly.  


NWEA:  Our window for taking the reading and math NWEA will be from Sept. 3rd - Sept. 20th. Students cannot prepare for this test ahead of time.  Please continue to have your child get plenty of rest each night and eat a healthy breakfast.  Thank you.


BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT:  Please put September 16th on your calendar for Back To School Night from 5:45-6:30.  We look forward to seeing you then.


LAPS TO LINCOLN:  Mark your calendars for Friday,October 11th, 5-7pm for our Laps for Lincoln celebration!  More information will be coming soon.  Please click this link to provide your child’s t-shirt size for the free Laps for Lincoln t-shirt that is being provided for every student.

DAILY SCHEDULE:  Please remember that the beginning of the school day is one of the most important times as the day’s expectations and routines are established.   Having your child to school on time means they don’t walk into the room and start their day trying to figure out what is happening.  Thank you so much for your help with this.


2023- 2024 Attendance Times:

  • 8:10 a.m. Drop-Off Begins, all students go to the playground.

    • Students can enter the cafeteria from the playground to eat breakfast.

  • 8:23 a.m. First Bell Rings, Students enter and walk straight to their classroom.

  •  8:30 a.m. Tardy Bell Rings 

  • 3:50 p.m. Dismissal

WORD WORK: Our class will be reviewing contractions this week. SUNSCREEN:   Please remember we can not apply sunscreen to your child and there is not usually time for application at school.  If you want your child to wear sunscreen, please apply before coming to school.  LINCOLN FIELD DAY May 22nd: Students will participate in fun activities during our field day from 9-11:30.  Please help your child enjoy the day by dressing for the weather and wearing tennis shoes.
