*Due to a Thursday make-up schedule because of half days, we will have two days of music instead of Media Center.  

Word Work: Our class will be learning about the /oo/ syllable pattern for the next two weeks. Our syllable pattern makes the sound as in blue, moon, youth.    Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the practice list for the week. 


Celebrating our Success:  To celebrate our fundraising success, we have earned some special days.  On Friday, we had Frozen Treat Day in addition to Popcorn Friday.  Thank you to all the volunteers who made that fun time possible. On Monday, students can participate in the all school PJ day and see Mrs. Knuth working on the roof.  On Wednesday, students may participate in Favorite Team Day.  Let me know if you have any questions.


Halloween Party: Thank you to all who have volunteered to help and/or send in supplies for our party.  The students are looking forward to this celebration. Students may wear their costumes all day and we will have an all school costume parade outside on the blacktop at 3:15.   If it is raining, the outside parade will be canceled.
