Weekly Update

10/28	We do not have a special.
10/29	We have art.
10/30	Late Start  School will start at 9:25.  We have Media Center.
10/31	It's Halloween! We have music.
11/1	We have gym.

Word Work: Our class will be learning about the /ou/ syllable pattern this week. Our syllable pattern makes the sound as in count, town, and countdown.    Students should read their word lists, discuss the meaning of the words, and practice spelling words with similar syllable patterns.  Spelling City is ready for students to access the practice list for the week.

Math: We are beginning our work in Unit 2 of Illustrative Mathematics.  The family resource links will help you understand what your child is learning during this unit.

Halloween Party: Thank you to all who have volunteered to help and/or send in supplies for our party.  The students are looking forward to this celebration. Students may wear their costumes all day and we will have an all school costume parade outside on the blacktop at 3:15.   If it is raining, the outside parade will be canceled.
