WORD WORK: Our class will be learning about the -ch, -tch, and -ture syllable pattern this week. Our syllable pattern makes the sound as luggage, ridge, and mixture.


NWEA:  This is the last week of our NWEA winter testing window for math and reading.  We will be using these next few days for students who are not finished to complete the test.  Thank you for your support over these last couple weeks.


ICE SKATING: Our rescheduled Lincoln School Skating day will be Tuesday, January 28th.  We will leave the school at 12:30, skate from 12:45-1:30 and return to school at 1:40.    If you are available to help fit skates and would like to join the fun, please make sure your volunteer paperwork is completed in the office.  Thank you


BOOK ORDER:  On Friday, a flyer for the January book order came home.  All orders should be submitted by Monday, January 27th at 8AM. If you like to shop our class page, click here.  If you would like to see additional flyers, click here.   


VALENTINE’S DAY PARTY:  It is really hard to believe that our last classroom party is just around the corner.  Our Valentine’s Day party will be held on Friday, February 14th, from 12:45-1:45.  I will be sending an email to those parents who signed up to help at Back to School Night.  If you missed the sign up and would like to help or attend the party, please contact me by email as soon as possible.  Please remember you must fill out the volunteer forms before helping at our parties.


SCIENCE & CULTURE NIGHT:  Science & Culture Night will be January 30th from 6-8pm. Students (must be accompanied by an adult) get to experience three 25 minute presentations, which range from hands-on art lessons to learning about animals to experiencing power first-hand! We also hope to fill the hallways with tables displaying different cultures of our very own Lincoln Families. We would love to display as many family cultures during the evening as possible.
