  We do not have school.  Have a great spring break.


Word Work: Our class will continue to learn to read and write words that have common sounds with different spelling patterns including the /air/ sound spelled ere, ear, air, and are. Such as there, wear,  flair, and carefully.


March Is Reading Month: This is the final week of March Book Madness! Students are welcome to revisit the two book titles to determine which book they enjoyed the most. We are excited to find out which book will win!


Author Visit:  Author, Matt de la Peña will be visiting on Wednesday at 

2 p.m. We are anxious to hear all about his life as an author.


In Math:  Please continue to remind your child to practice polygons, equal parts, time, and money using IXL.  


Library Books:  Please help your child remember to return or renew his/her library books before spring break.

WORD WORK: Our class will be reviewing contractions this week. SUNSCREEN:   Please remember we can not apply sunscreen to your child and there is not usually time for application at school.  If you want your child to wear sunscreen, please apply before coming to school.  LINCOLN FIELD DAY May 22nd: Students will participate in fun activities during our field day from 9-11:30.  Please help your child enjoy the day by dressing for the weather and wearing tennis shoes.
