WORD WORK: Our class will continue to learn to read and spell words with plural word endings using ies and eys.


SJ FIELD TRIP: FRIDAY MAY 23rd  9:00 – 12:30 PM: Lincoln’s second grade classes will be visiting the Silver Beach Carousel, touring historical sites on the bluff, and watching the Memorial Day Parade.  The trip will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the carousel and conclude after the parade at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Students will eat sack lunches at school when we return.  Students may bring a cold lunch or fill out a sack lunch form that will be sent home the week of May 5th. 


**PARENTS ARE WELCOME to attend our field trip.  We ask no siblings to attend the carousel and bluff walk.  This is a special time for our second grade students to learn about our community.  Parents may meet us with siblings at the parade site.  We usually find seating in front of the War Memorials on the bluff side of the street.


MUSIC PERFORMANCE:  Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 30th.  This is the day our 2nd graders will perform their show.  The performance will take place at the St. Joseph High School at 5:45 p.m.  Here is a link to the website with more information.
