WORD WORK: Our class will review words this week.  We will review words that have the schwa sound, plural endings, and the /us/ sound.


SJ FIELD TRIP: FRIDAY MAY 23rd  9:00 – 12:30 PM: Lincoln’s second grade classes will be visiting the Silver Beach Carousel, touring historical sites on the bluff, and watching the Memorial Day Parade.  The trip will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the carousel and conclude after the parade at approximately 12:30 p.m.  

Students will eat sack lunches from home or school depending upon what you requested at school when we return.  


**PARENTS ARE WELCOME to attend our field trip.  We ask no siblings to attend the carousel and bluff walk.  This is a special time for our second grade students to learn about our community.  Parents may meet us with siblings at the parade site.  We usually find seating in front of the War Memorials on the bluff side of the street.
